British Trails

After moving squads I had 6 weeks till the main race of the season British trails, adapting to new training in tough and with the added pressure having moved squads to perform well was showing. Trying to fit training around my exams and coursework deadlines was a struggle, but most athletes in education can sympathize with this statement. Anyway trying to concentrate on so many things at once took its toll on me and after heavier training I developed another throat infection and suspected glandular fever which meant another course of antibiotics. Training had been going really well and I was challenging and pushing myself harder than I had ever done before and with a lack of sleep and added stress was probably why I was ill again.

BUSA Long Course

BUSA long course championships didn't go as well as I wanted them to, training and injury have taken their toll and things just haven't been rolling very smoothly however I haven't lost my desire and passion for the sport. January 2010 - Suit Ban

Happy New Year I hope everyone enjoyed themselves and there glasses were flowing I however was asleep by 11.45pm watching sword and the stone with my boyfriend Ben however I woke up to watch the fireworks in Cardiff and then fell back to sleep not exactly the rock and roll night it should have been!!The New Year has brought a lot of new things including the suit ban!
